Moora Library

The Moora Library is located in the Shire of Moora's administration building, at 34 Padbury Street, Moora. It is open Monday to Friday, from 8am to 4pm. Joining is quick and easy, with current ID. Members of the public are encouraged to take advantage of this free service.

Members can borrow up to 6 items at a time, for a duration of two weeks.  In addition, members of the Moora Library can download and use the Borrow Box and Libby digital libraries for free! This provides readers with a vast array of ebooks, digital audiobooks and magazines, which can be streamed, or downloaded for offline use to be read anytime, anywhere on your iPhone, iPad, Android or Android Tablet. There is also a great selection of items for kids!

To download Borrow Box, the password is the last four characters of your library card. To access Libby, members need their library card and the password: 6510. For more information on each of these services, please follow the links below. If you need help with downloading or logging into these apps, please speak to our friendly staff.

For our youngest community members, the library runs a Story and Rhyme Time program during school terms for 0 to 4 year-olds and their caregiver, on Thursdays at 10am. The session is held in the Library or the MPAC foyer, depending on numbers.
