The Recreation Centre is used for community activities and functions.

There are two hockey clubs in Moora - Robins and Strikers. And one in Miling.

There is one football club in Moora – Moora Mavericks.

There are competitions running throughout the year- summer and winter.

Sunday matches through the district from October-March. Knights is the local team.

Open October through to March. The Moora Amateur Swimming Club is based here.

The Tennis Club has 6 synthetic courts.

Summer season. Men's, Ladies and Pennants. There is also an annual corporate bowls tournament.

The golf club is very active six months of the year with weekend golf competitions and tournaments.

Central Midlands Riding & Pony Club and horse trials are very popular, with many equestrian events held at this park.

The Men's and Ladies darts competitions run from the Moora Tennis Clubrooms.
