Are you likely to attend fires in the Shire of Moora, but have no previous training and are not currently a member of a local brigade? WE WANT YOU!
The Shire values the contribution of our spontaneous volunteers/farmer response and encourages you to attend Rural Fire Awareness Training, delivered by DFES. Upon registering with the Shire and completing this training you will be provided with free PPE*.
Your safety and wellbeing is our highest priority and by completing this training we hope you can continue to assist in the management of fire in the Shire, in the safest way possible.
Proposed Training: Wednesday 16th October 2024, 8am – 12pm, morning tea & lunch provided.
