Deferred Commencement of Restricted Buring

Pursuant to Section 18 of the Bush Fires Act 1954, the Shire of Moora advises it will be amending the Restricted Burning Time due to seasonal conditions. Please note the following:

** Unrestricted Burning until 2 October 2024

** Permits to Burn will not be required until 3 October 2024

** Large burns to be registered with DFES Comms on (08) 9395 9210

We encourage the use of safe practices when using fire in the landscape, taking into consideration smoke impacting roads and the provision of fire units applicable to the burn size.
