On Monday, 2nd September 2024, CEO Gavin Robins and Manager of Financial Services Geize Teixeira (pictured below), conducted the draw for the early payment of Shire rates.
The $600 prize winner was A. L. McKinnon & L. Wise, who were pleasantly surprised to discover they were randomly drawn from the rates database.
The chance to win was open to ratepayers who paid their rates in full within 21 days of the notice.
